Fiji is one of Australia's favourite short-haul escapes — about four hours from the east coast, which makes it very easy to forget your phone is now roaming internationally. Your telco's day pass at around A$5–10 a day doesn't sound like much until a week of family holiday becomes an extra A$35–70 on the bill, mostly spent refreshing the weather app by the pool. How fast is the data in Fiji?
You get full local network speeds on partner networks across Fiji, with no artificial throttling from Onda. Expect strong coverage in cities and populated areas; some rural or island locations may be slower, which is true of any network.
Can I make calls or send texts with this eSIM?
Onda eSIMs are data-only. For calls and texts, use WiFi calling or apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime Audio and iMessage. Your home number remains active for bank verification SMS.
