These terms of service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Onda (“Onda”, “we”, “us”, “our”), including our website and the eSIM data plans we sell. By using our site or purchasing a plan, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Onda operates Onda from Australia. We sell digital travel eSIM data plans, sourced through third-party mobile network partners, to customers worldwide. All prices on our site are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and are GST-inclusive where GST applies.
2. What you’re buying
An Onda plan is a digital mobile data product delivered as an eSIM profile (QR code and/or installable link) plus, where stated, a matching activation code. Plans are described with their data allowance, validity period, and coverage on each product page — that description forms part of your contract with us.
Because eSIM plans are digital products that are delivered instantly and can be installed immediately, your right to cancel for change of mind is limited once a plan has been delivered. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law — see clause 6 below.
3. Payment
Payment is processed securely at checkout. Prices are shown in AUD, inclusive of GST, before you confirm purchase. We do not store your full card details — payment is handled by our payment processor.
4. Installing and using your eSIM
You’re responsible for installing your eSIM on a compatible, unlocked device, and for following the installation instructions we provide. Data usage, network availability, and speeds depend on our network partners in each destination and are outside our direct control, though we make reasonable efforts to describe coverage accurately.
5. Fair use
Plans are intended for personal, individual use during travel. Where a plan does not support hotspot/tethering, using it to provide connectivity to other devices may breach these Terms and could result in throttling or suspension by our network partners.
6. Your consumer guarantees
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. Where a failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the problem fixed within a reasonable time.
7. Refunds
See our refund policy for the full detail on when a refund, replacement, or top-up applies.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of Onda is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant plan. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss arising from lack of connectivity during travel.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Onda after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
