Roaming vs. an Onda Singapore eSIM
Singapore might be the most common stamp in an Australian passport — stopovers, long weekends, work trips. It's also where day-pass roaming feels least fair: land at 6am, fly out the next evening, and get billed two full days at your telco's typical A$5–10 daily rate. A small eSIM data pack covers a stopover for a one-off price, and a bigger one handles a full week.
Because Changi-to-city is so quick, it pays to be ready before wheels-down: install the eSIM at home on WiFi, then switch it on as you taxi to the gate. You'll have MRT directions and your hotel pin loaded before the seatbelt sign is off.
Whether it's 24 hours of hawker centres or a week of meetings, land connected and keep the trip moving at Singapore speed.
